My extended family has been going to the Sandpiper Beach Resort every year for the past 30 years! Tomorrow we are coming back for the 31st year. I am completely IN LOVE with the Sandpiper. I look forward to going every year and it is my absolute favorite place on planet earth. We spend our time boogeyboarding, playing card and board games, lying out on the beach (with the softest sand you can imagine), going to the gift shop, sleeping out on the deck, playing on the playground,getting drinks at the espresso stand, and so much more. I hope that my family will keep going for many, many years to come. The rooms are fantastic and cozy and have an outstanding view. I save up money every year just for spending at the fabulous gift shop. I am in love with your resort. Thank you for everything. :-)

this is the best place that i have ever been to.I have been going to sandpiper beach resort ever since i was 2 yrs. old with my dad (joel white). it is a wonderful place to have the kids and build sandcastles and to hang out with family, and when i grow up i am going to try to bring my kids every year like my dad did with me.

My grandparents went to the sandpiper back in the 1970's with my aunts and uncles, and it sort of became a tradition. My immediate family went there for years, but as school schedules altered, we couldn't go as much. Now, this year, we get to go back, and I am thrilled! I have lots of great memories of the beaches and rooms eleven and twelve, which were the ones we always stayed in. I hope, when I get older, I will be able to bring my kids and family there, and uphold the tradition, and introduce them to all the memories I have, and give them a chance to form some of their own.

What a wonderful place for a vacation - we recently spent 4 days at you resort and could not have asked for anything better - the kitchen was well appointed - linens were clean and as many towels that were needed were supplied - the grounds are well kept, playground is great for children, of which we had 4 under 8 with us - and of course, the beach was fabulous.

The only concern I had, was that the bathroom shower curtain and tub mat left little to be desired - i think that the cleanliness failed in that department. My only complaint.

I am hoping that we are able to reserve for next year - and have recommended it to many of my coworkers and friendss

Beautiful, amazing, best time at the beach ever!!!
We stayed (sadly) only one night ... but we played and walked with our three dogs on the beach the next day for hours! So much fun!!! A great place with very friendly staff, cozy rooms, incredible views AND literally "steps to the beach".

It's been almost two weeks since we've returned to Wisconsin after a stay at Sandpiper. Our photos turned out amazing, and we came back relaxed and wishing we were still sitting on our balcony overlooking the magnificent Pacific. We spent two weeks in the western Washington region, and consider our stay at Sandpiper three of the best days! We definitely plan a return in the future.

Spent last weekend in Pacific Beach / Ocean Shores and visited your Gift Shop. Your staff was especially kind and welcoming (my husband and our little dog sat just outside the door on a bench). Have been coming to the Sandpiper for about 11 years now and have always enjoyed our stays rain or shine (though it always seems to shine when we are there). Our little grand-daughter had her first walking excursion to the beach and got her feet wet in the surf just last June. It is fast becoming her favorite place to be. With her Dad & Mom and her Papa & Nana she will keep getting yearly excursions to look all the wonders the beach has to offer. Can't say enough about the wonderful staff who have been great from our first visit on. Our best to Jeannie and Sandy and everyone else (and Bob we hope to see more progress on your home across the highway when we visit again in December).

My family has been making yearly (or more frequent!) visits to Sandpiper for... what is it now, 10, 11 years? It's evolved a bit since we first started going, but we love it! We even have occasionally brought extended family with us. The beach is gorgeous, and it's so nice to be able to go to a beach without people every few feet! The rooms are quite comfortable, and I especially enjoy the fireplaces - great for smores! This place is great for bringing your pets - we occasionally also bring our two dogs. They love running on the beach! This place is a great retreat - great for playing, walking, running, sandcastle building, splashing around in the water, and just relaxing! Great espresso, too! Great honeymooning spot as well!

Great stuff to do: Smores, playing board games with family (try Witch Trial or Queen's Necklace), moonlight walks on the beach, morning runs, get some espresso and read on your deck, build sandcastles (or my family's tradition - forts! The kids love to see how many waves they withstand before collapsing), or just stand and look at the infinite, beautiful ocean, with it's *gorgeous* sunsets!!

my first visit to the sandpiper was in my late teens. since then, i have raised a family with annual visits (over the fourth of july for the last ten or twelve years) and I can't imagine a better place to get back in touch with yourself,your spouse, and your kids (even teenagers!). this year we added a new generation with three grandchildren. They might not understand yet how special the sandpiper is, but it does'nt take too many years to become addicted to the place. two days ago i was on the beach at 8:30am with my kids,and could'nt see another person north or south. where else can you find that? it,s an absolutely wonderful place, great people that remember us year to year, amazing views and sunsets, great gift shop, and the very rare chance to let the rest of the world go by and not miss it. We've been bringing our 2 Australian Terriers to the Sandpiper Resort twice a year, during the off season, for many years. We enjoy meeting like minded pet owners and the lazy carefree atmosphere does wonders for us. Your rooms are romantically perfect. I had a great time with my dogs at Sandpiper. I've always opted for the Oregon coast, but now I'm going to stay a little closer to home. The resort was exactly what it promised to be. The grounds were nicely kept and the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. Great little gift shop on site and the beaches were superb for long walks/jogs, gathering sanddollars and shells and just hanging out. Thanks so much -- we'll be back!

This is the best beach resort ever! Plenty to do: collect shells, play in ocean, play in the sand,etc. Nice ocean views, wonderful cabins, nice employees. In the mornings you can take walks along the beach. On the fourth of July, i think is the best time to come here. You can buy fireworks at nearby firework stands, set them off, at night time you can watch other people light fireworks, they are beutifull to watch. Overall this resort deserves a 10 out of 10.Anyone who can come should.

This is the best beach resort ever!Anyone who can come should. Plenty to do: play in ocean, collect shells, take walks in morning, buy stuff from gift shop, play in the sand, etc. On the fourth of July you can watch pretty fireworks, set off fireworks, go to nearby firework stands and alot more.The cabins are nice and clean. We really enjoyed our weekend family retreat at The Sandpiper. The room was perfect.Very comfortable beds, lovely fireplace, and completely equipped with all the kitchen items you'll need to cook for a big crowd.

Early morning favorite: Wrapped in a blanket sitting in the big wooden rocking chairs out on the porch overlooking the beautiful sand and ocean view watching all the different types of birds was spectacular (the hot chocolate with Peppermint Snapps didn't hurt!)

The only thing that marred our weekend was the amount of noise during BOTH nights by some REALLY lousy neighbors. It started about 2:00 a.m. (after the bar up the street probably closed) and continued until about 4:00. Lots of yelling and laughing and stomping up and down the stairs, slamming doors. I confess that I didn't complain to the management either night.

Otherwise, our stay was wonderful!

I love the Sandpiper. I think I've been going there every year in October for about ten years now. It's a great place to rejuvinate, relax and enjoy the sound of the ocean. You don't have to leave your room if you don't want to, you can see and hear the ocean right from your deck.
